- The event duration was reduced from 48 to 24 hours. Managing a 2-day competition is too hard for such a tiny team.
- Static scoring gave way to dynamic one (in accordance with CTF Design Guidelines).
- Sign in/up with CTFtime.org was implemented.
March 2020 was marked with lockdowns all over the globe. Nonetheless VolgaCTF.org team held VolgaCTF 2020 Qualifier event, which started on March 27th and lasted 48 hours. That was the ninth qualifier event in the history of VolgaCTF and now we would like to share some key metrics that were collected during the competition this year. The data is compared against VolgaCTF 2019 Qualifier.
March 2019 definitely appeared to be a CTF month for VolgaCTF.org team. On March 29th at 15:00 UTC we started VolgaCTF 2019 Qualifier event, which lasted 48 hours. That was the eighth qualifier event in the history of VolgaCTF and now we would like to share some key metrics that were collected during the competition this year.
